Going Green Expo

admin January 22nd, 2008

The Conference Organising Committee is developing an extensive conference program focused on the exchange of real knowledge and practical skills through innovative and inclusive delivery methods. As we work towards sustainable communities, the Green North Eco Conference will host the Going Green Expo. The two-day Going Green Expo will run parallel to the Green North Eco Conference on March 18- 19, 2008.

Manufacturers, technology, equipment and service providers will be able to showcase their products/services and present their company to the decision-making Conference participants. We will feature the businesses who genuinely respond to the challenges of sustainable commerce by developing products, services and processes that respect and reduce impact on the environment are rapidly gaining momentum.

The Going Green Expo portion of the event will be equally relevant to those in the business, government or not-for-profit sector and will equip delegates with the “how” of green purchasing. The plan is to establish formal open lines of communication between green suppliers and purchasers from all sectors; and to develop cooperative agreements across all sectors to advance green purchasing regionally.

Products, services and technologies on display at the Going Green Expo will be required to demonstrate the validity of their “green” commitments. They may carry a range of existing environmentally responsible product or have provided evidence of environmental efficiency, policy in manufacture procedures, compliance with ISO 14001 standards or demonstrate pioneering environmental practises in order to participate.

Please note that booth space does not include conference registration.
